About Me:
My initial introduction to photography was a high school class. The teacher pounded into us to always have a camera with us. You never know when that next diamond in the rough will pop up.
My motto is, if I like it, I shoot it and deal with it later. For the past six decades I have shot from the hip and not the tripod. Because I've lived most of my life near Hollywood, California. I have always been intrigued by the people and artwork that inspired the world. Remembering my first photography teacher's admonition to always have a camera with me. This enabled me to catch shots that will never be repeated. If I see something I like, I snap it and deal with it later. My wife, Josefina, was the traditional photographer; she preferred photo shoots. Later on in her career, she did like to do what I call free shooting.
LMG is celebrating over a century of camera snaps by my wife and me. As we reviewed our collections, it was amazing how many snaps we had accumulated. We had intended to begin sharing more of our collections after moving to Las Vegas. Regretfully, my wife was diagnosed with cancer. We battled it for four years, but in the end it won. It has always been our goal to be able to reveal the story contained in each snap. To do so, we may have to remove some of the layers of the snap and embrace others to highlight the story. We only use premium professional photo papers to enhance the image quality and to ensure the prints last the longest time possible. Hopefully as you check out our collections, there will be some that you will want to add to your collection.
